From a young age, Rhonda knew that she was called to serve and to help make a difference in this world. She graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1997 where she received her BA in International Ministries. In 2017, she received her MA in Intercultural Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. For years, Rhonda served churches by leading them in missions to help serve both their local community and communities around the globe. In 2018, she joined TMS Global as a coach to help train and equip churches around the United States to make a difference in their community.

In 2020, she moved to Fort Myers, Florida with her husband, and two children, Pierson and Sydney. She joined the mission team at Riverside Church and a partnership was birthed that would change her. She saw the power a local congregation could have in supporting teachers and classrooms. A passion began to grow in her. She imagined that schools everywhere would have the support they need to help teachers and students thrive. In October of 2022, she took a step of faith and moved full time into starting The Imagine Initiative.
